Well, that was quick. Dan, maybe you could give some of the folks an idea of how you found it.

Congratulations DanRaitz.

This one wasn't too bad. I remember seeing a program on the chunnel that showed the western terminal. I knew from that program that this wasn't the west end, so how about the east end? Bingo! there it was.

I guess I am pretty late. I just now saw it, and instantly, what in the world is that in the upper left diagonal of the picture? Then went to the larger coverage picture and saw the reverse loop. Was that for the trains? Lots of parallel tracks or SOMETHING. Not a simple balloon loop for turning a freight consist to come into the yard. Lots of parallel tracks-- such as a passenger terminal. Perhaps a place where commuter trains are stored between runs, ready to go back.
But then I noticed auto bridges ascross the parallel tracks, with ramps going down. Loading autos onto trains-- like the Autotrain operation on the US coast. But so many ramps for cars. Where in the world would you have such a volume of cars being loaded onto trains-- aha-- English Channel tunnel.
I didn't know which end, but guessed in about a minute that was what it probably was...
