Thanks, Ben! I was hoping I wasn't the only entry... :) What, no GEez out in western CO? :) (clean ones, maybe not--this is the Borg we speak of;))
Russ, that consist would have been tastier with that trailing H1 unit leading... But ya takes what ya gets, I guess! Love the clouds in that shot!

I finally get to play! I haven't been out railfanning much this year, but have been able to the last couple of weekends. Here's one from Friday -- a brand spankin' new KCS de Mexico ES44AC (2 actually, the primer unit is KCS also) on the point of an NS manifest takes on fuel at Danville, KY, before continuing it's trip south through the 'Rathole'.

We have a few GEez running around but the weather has not been the best for getting a good picture. I'll see what tomorrow brings. Maybe I can get a last minute entry.

Ben,
Weather is a minor problem. I have been out in nasty weather and gotten nice shots. The skies need not be clear for a neat picture! :) Heck, snow, rain and fog makes great shots--they block out the background trash!

Thanks. The paint on the H1s seems to hold up better than most on these units (http://www.trainboard.com/railimages/data/601/7087.jpg?496). The pink and silver Warbonnets look the worst.

Sorry I missed out on this week's contest. The weather was absolutley lousy all weekend long. I had some other tasks that needed attention. So I just plain ran out of available time...........arrrrgh.
