We have our next 6 or 7 contests in the can already so those of you submitting locations, please hold off for a bit and we will catch up.

Some of the upcoming contests may be very difficult, whice some may be easier.

One thing we can assure you of is that that these are all interesting places to browse.

Wonder how much Unitrack I would need...

Not only is that a big class yard, there is a lot of space left for expansion. :omg:

It reminds me of a big class yard near Chicago O'Hare Airport, but this yard still has open space around it.

A hump yard, no less. How many of them can there be in the CONUS?

That is Union Pacific's North Little Rock, Arkansas yard. Trains Magazine, September 2006 had a list of Hump Yards.

I've been there. We used to stay right down on the river on the airport side. There were some wood chip gons that used to pass by on that south side of the river. Also, a beautiful train bridge crosses the river at the far west end of the yards. Isn't this where Jenks Engine Shops are located? Big DD40AX out front on display? Right at the river crossing on the north side?
