Eastern Seaboard Models Corporation is pleased to announce the latest addition to our N scale 3110-series Passenger Car Sides – our first series of decorated car sides based on the Pullman-Standard Plan 4140B 10-6 fluted sleeper featuring the Atlantic Coast Line. Six different styles will be released over the next three months. The car sides are painted silver to simulate stainless steel and feature purple/silver graphics on the 1949 County paint schemes and black graphics on the 1949 River and later County schemes. The products are offered in multiple car name variations as specified below, for modelers who desire more than one. The County series was utilized throughout the southeast quadrant of the country in Atlantic Coast Line consists as well as the consists of other inter-city trains, and would be at home on nearly any American railroad.

These injection-molded plastic car sides are intricately tooled from computer designed artwork, and attach seamlessly to the American Limited #8020 core kit (sold separately). The cars can be modeled without the center skirting if desired.

Details include the accurate pattern of Pullman-Standard fluting, corner bank trust plates next to the Pullman plates, triangular car number marker boards, proper rain drips over the vestibule doors and skirt detail.

The paint simulates stainless steel beautifully, while the printing is ultra crisp and legible. The sides are designed to easily accept window glass and free-standing grab irons if desired. The package includes instructions to build a complete model, as well as diagrams showing proper placement of all the detail parts.
