I received my 2-10-2 and was very disappointed in that the unit ran about two feet down the track under control of my digitrax zephyr and quit. Nothing I did made the thing reacquire. I tested it on DC and got slow jerky movement, so I looked for a shot and having found nothing obvious returned the model for a replacement.
The second unit runs fine out of the box with very impressive slow start. All sounds were as I would have expected. I have been running the model for about a month now but keep thinking about my experience with the first one. Has anybody else experienced problems with this model and how were they remedied?
