I'll be in Missouri along the Marceline Sub just outside KC.

I swear - CSX got mad, took their trains and went home. Hardly any rail activity around here this weekend - maybe CSX gave everyone the 1st and 2nd off - for the 4th of July...
Anyway, managed to miss Amtrak, about the only thing moving around here. So here it is - and it ain't much. The CSX mainline between East Saugatuck and New Richmond Michigan - looking west.

They are all great shots this time, but I voted for yours....it just looked like that train was gettin it through the banked curve. VERY COOL! :)

July 7th, 2007, 06:40 AM
If it was still multi-choice, I would have included Tim L's empty esses, but I couldn't resist punkins on the banking! The UPS train is what Conrail around here used to call "TVLA", now Q114 on CSX, the hottest train on the Water Level. If I had time, I'd of shot the wide banked curve in Willoughby:

Scott,
First look at your shot I figured you'd be the winner "hands-down." In the midwest there is now way to match that shot!! But for some reason people vote for all different kids or reasons, hence the 3-way chase.
This is one of the best things about TB!!! L
