1. All challenges close at 12 midnight (24:00 hours) Eastern Standard Time on Monday 25th June 2007, and will be noted with a "Time's up!" post within the thread.
2. Please use the challenge as a motive to take a new photograph rather than using a photograph that you have taken in the past.
3. Challenges are open to everyone, have fun!!
4. Though not required, commenting on other peoples pictures is encouraged.
5. Only one image per participant so please choose the image carefully.
6. Any posts with images taken before the commencement of the challenge will be deleted.
7. For photos to be eligible they must be taken between the 22nd and 25th of June 2007.
8. Ensure dates and times on your camera are correct.
I look forward to seeing many contributors, remember this is to encourage all modellers to take a shot of the subject rather than post a photo taken in the past.

An idea is just an idea, the photos is what counts. I would like to see your Railfan load photo in the challenge Russell.

Hmm, I have a lot of flatcars, gondolas, and open hoppers. Wonder what I can come up with. No scenery but lots of ideas.
Hmm.

Well JD, I'd say this beats my photo since this is a modeling challenge, I really should read the contest title more carefully.

I have made several pipe loads for one of my industries. This is a pipe load that just came apart. I liked it and decided to leave it.

I like that old weathered B&O gondola, too. Sort of goes with the pipe load. ;)

Ok, I just gotta enter this one:
Cotton Belt SD45T-2 leading Westinghouse Schnabel car #202.
http://www.trainboard.com/railimages/data/500/N-Load1.jpg
Had problems shooting this one, as the Westinghouse car is
11 1/4 INCHES long and weighs just under 1 POUND, at 11.5oz.
Also taken on a tabletop corner module. I'd be able to do a bit better if I connected the other sceniked corner.

I've got several other pics taken of this beast too.
Here's on overhead view. Compare the size of the car to the Kato Dash 9's!

Very nice guys!
I just spent 3 hours in the kitchen making "Mystrium Loads". The glue should be dry by Sunday when I get home from Rrrr's. I do not expect to win by any stretch but I can assure you a few will be unique.

This car with its load I got some time ago as gift from my friend Fons. He build it!

Rear row: Large blocks of Blue Mystrium have been cut using 2 methods at the quarry. (blocks of 1/2 blue foam)
Middle row: The "Communication / GPS Spheres" will be used first to aid in construction of: Grandure City II - built on the air rights of the Grandure Yard. Um, the dino is a sculpture ordered for the new park in Grandure City II.
Front row: Blue Mystrium - granular
Some may know I have developed a series of industries around "Mystrium" because I do not have the visual capacity to do accurate modeling.
Enjoy - more later in a thread on using blue foam for stuff.

Thanks Colonel,
The "granular" was made with a kitchen vegie grader. Um, it also made quite the mess. I'll document it within a week.
"Blue foam. It's not just for scenery layers anymore"

The poll has been posted, good luck everyone.
A couple of entrants posted two images, I selected what I thought was the best of the two and deleted the other as per the rules.

Only 26 votes so far which is a little disappointing considering there are so many modelers on this site
