As were the Milw Little Joes, these will be far beyond my budget. But, it would be nice to see them in N scale. Has anyone ever done a GN layout in N, under wire?

Expensive? True ... but brass has never been "inexpensive." Also given the "uniqueness" of the model, brass is probably the only way the loco will ever be modeled, particularly in n-scale. So I've have ordered one .. to go with my L'il Joe.:cool6xb:

Not that I know .. but I do know there are some NCAT modelers that have done Milwaukee Road under wire.

True. But sadly it's still way beyond my budget.

Years ago, I had an 8 foot NCAT Milw module. As did Kirk Reddie. Mine is long gone. I don't recall what happened to his. Hal Riegger had his layout. Tom Savage also did some Milw on a layout. But I can't think of anyone doing GN seriously. Just a few of those Japanese prototype engines, brought in by Con-Cor, painted GN.

I saw in the latest issue of NSR that OMI has announced them officially and even what versions they are going to do.
