Hi Group, June 11th, 07.
Monday 19:10 Hrs. M.D.T.

I See that Atlas is Comming Out with the Alco 420s
in N Scale. This Could get Interesting. Why? If I Remember
it Right, Life Like Came Out with the 424 Units a Few Years
Back.
I Know because I Bought a Few in C.N. and C.P. Rail
About 3 or 4 Years Back When they Were Marketed in
Canada. The HO versions - Proto 2000, 1000 Did Well. The
N Scale Versions Didn;t Do All that Well. Pitty.
If I Got Any, D & H Might Fit, But If One Were to
Come Out in B.C.R. Two Tone Green, I'll Get 2 Units, No
Questions Asked.
What Do I Really Like, The M420s in A & B Units
in B.C. Rail Two Toned Green Would B Really Nice for My
B.C.R. Fleet.
What Else Would I Like? Try the Atlas C630s in B.C.
Rail Two Tone Green or the Red, White, and Blue Hockey
Stick Style. Interesting. What Else? Try the M 630s as
Well in N Scale. Now We Are Talking.:asl:

Thanks Group.

The Life Like C 424 met with mixed reviews. The biggest complaint concerned the number boards not being prototypically accurate. I have a pair awaiting repaint as X CP units owned by Apache Railway. An Atlas 420 will be joining them.

Someone mentioned it in a thread, a while back. I'm still curious to to what N scale motive power and rolling stock has been done in PGE, and BCR. Hopefully, fairly accurately painted, etc.

:D
