Did GN have any single headlight F3A's? I've got one pic off what supposedly is an F3A, #470A, although it looks more like an F7A. I've scowered the net for an early pic of a single headlight freight unit to no avail. Anyone know if they did exist, if so, does anyone have a pic of one?

458A, aka 306A, had a single headlight as BN 676: http://www.trainpix.com/BN/EMDORIG/F3A/676.HTM It's a Phase IV F3, which looks virtually identical to a Phase I F7.

Nice, that's seems to be the same phase as the pic I've got of #470A (#264A). Anyone have one as delivered?

Great Northern had a few F3's with a single headlight. They were numbers 225-231, 259, 262, 263 and 430-438 (even only). All were delivered between 1946 and 1948.

Dan, those numbers seems to include a couple of passenger units, or where they not intended specifically for passenger duty when delivered? Thanks for the info though!
