Grey One, I used steel studs on a recent basement remodel and loved 'em.... Very easy to use...lightweight...strong.......no warping....all nice and straight........I recommend them!

Smallbore - what do you think of the "how to". Is it accurate and complete?

Grey One, I actually used this how-to when I did my project... Info on using steel studs appears to be fairly thin.... This how-to was helpful in showing what materials were needed and so forth....... I recall an articl in MRR from a couple of years ago that desribed using steel in benchwork also....not sure what mm/yy...
