Less modelling time -- Wii Golf ! Augghhh!

Anyone else bitten by the Wii bug? My son got a Wii gaming system recently, and I cannot get away from the golf game. I head down to the basement to work on the layout or run trains, and the next thing I've got the Wii controller in my hand and I'm playing a round of golf!

I don't consider myself a big gamer at all (probably common among model railroaders) but this Wii Golf is awesome.

I guess it's good to have other diversions... and heck, at least I've attained "Pro" status :).

Golf is probably my least favorite of the Wii Sports. I think it's really close to being great but I find it is a little touchy compared to the other ones like tennis or bowling. If I box too many rounds the next day my arms and back are killing me! I take back my statement that golf is my least favorite, that goes to baseball. Then golf.

It's really cool that you even gave it a chance. When I went home for Xmas I tried to get my parents who are in their 50s and my sister who is 30 to play and they refused. They did laugh at me play, however!

I know the feeling. I'm hooked on the tennis and especially the bowling. I don't really care too much for playing video games anymore, but that one has me hooked. The fishing game my wife got me is also rather addicting

I want a WII so bad. But until i get some money i guess ill stick with my PS2.

I don't own a Wii but I got to play it at a friend's house a couple months ago. Pretty fun! Especially when my friends made my "Mii" avatar :) :) :)

I like the boxing...you can actually work up a sweat. There is a "Densha De GO" Shinkansen simulator for Wii released in Japan. I just hope I can get my hands on it.
