A friend of mine sent me this link to a website (http://home.att.net/~Berliner-Ultrasonics/rrschnab.html)which features the Schnabel railcar- the one that ships very large loads by rail.
Thought I'd share it with you.

Fascinating stuff. Thinking about some of the scenes around us, whether moved via rail or road, I'm surprised we don't see more of these loads.
