Great shots, Russell! Thanks for sharing them. :shade: After two days of 50+ degrees, I can finally see some of my front yard now. Thank God for groundhogs. People south of the 40th parallel are not used to snow on the ground for so long.

You know, one thought about the "extra" you shot. Usually they put a plow or something on the front of these things. :lightbulb:

Sure looks like a lot of snow to me, too. Seems strange that just two engines are out there. They are not the regular GP38-2 Espee snow fighters, nor do they have a plow or spreader in front.

BTW, where is the rest of the train, anyway?

This was on 1-15-07 at milepost 525.8 between Genoa & Limon Colo. The train hit a drift that had filled a cut in a hill side. The rest of the train was uncoupled and pulled away from the engines.
