BNSF Sterling line

[BNSF-Fort Collins]

Ran up there for lunch right where Quebec and Hwy 2 meet. Headed north and caught a coal train with 2 wide cab SDs on point (BNSF scheme, older nose logo). Spun around and followed them along hwy shooting out the window with my DLSR (I'll try to post some pics soon). Pretty cool running alongside them. Zoomed ahead just before the road curved away and was able to jump out and get a couple of shots. I need a scanner.

Not a bad way to spend lunch.

Looking forward to it! I have done some BNSF in the Mile-High city, but only at the yard, and I saw some action at the BNSF/UP diamonds near I-270 on the north side of Denver... I think that's the Sterling line.
