Mountain Top PA? [Archive]

I have heard that there is a loco rebuilder located in Mountain Top PA. I haven't been successful in locating it or info on it. Can anyone help? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If I remember correctly, that was a Morrison-Knudson plant. Whatever it was, it's nothing but slabs of concrete now with most or all of the buildings demolished and hauled away. It was on the Lehigh/Conrail/now RBMN main between CP Crestwood and CP Solomons Gap. The shops were pretty much abandoned but still standing when I used to run that way. I'm not even sure the switch is left now.

Your welcome. It looked like quite a place...lots of track and structures. Must be nobody could find a use for it.
