My grandfather named George Hula worked for the Illinois Central Railroad as an engineer from approximately 1914 to 1960. Is there a way to find out where exactly he worked like routes or territories? I know they (my mom's family) lived in Cicero.
Thanks I appreciate any help.

I'd start by contacting the Illinois Central Railroad Historical Society.
http://icrrhistorical.org/
You might find someone there who either has access to old employee records, or who may even remember your grandfather.
They have a phone number and email contact also:
Phone: 217-379-2261
E-mail: CharlesWerner@icrrhistorical.org (CharlesWerner@icrrhistorical.org)
Good luck
