Now I'm gonna have to find some of mine and get em out on the layout - I need to run them anyway. Maybe I'll get time to shoot a couple pics tomorrow or Saturday. Please stand by...

Here is a C&O Geep in a foreign setting. This one is from Commerce, TEXAS where the C&O Geep is switching out a train for the Cotton Belt

Any ideas who was using it? Was it actually in SSW service? Or leased to?

Yes it was leased to Cotton Belt. I rode C&O GP30 #3019 from Commerce to Greenville and back on the Dodger (local). The Cotton Belt had many GP30 and GP35s plus B&O GP30 and GP35s leased back in 1972-1973 time frame. Freight traffic on the Cotton Belt and Espee was booming and all power was needed.

Good stuff here. First time posting on this board, wanted to share my 2 HO geeps. The blue one I am waiting to get decals for, the other is a deal I got off ebay. Not too sure if I like the 3 tone paint job now or not. Sully
