This is one of those..."take your pictures on the way out of here" shots...since we were just asked to leave nicely by the WP staff...you can see an F-7 tucked away in the back...with the other Geeps... smile.gif

A shot with character. I like it because it has the feel of a busy engine shop area. Those were the days, when railfanning was interesting to me. When UP merged with the MP and WP I scaled back my railfanning. UP did their best to move the WP power off the WP and replace it with their power. Their small power soon disappeared with MP blue showing up. Then it disappeared to have ex-MKT GP-40's in UP yellow show up with the WP GP-35's now yellow. Cabooses started disappearing in late 83. It was down hill for me. Thanks for the memery jog Mike.
