Videos???

What is out there in the way of WP videos? (Must be strictly from the days of pre-yellow fever!)

Well, I went through my limited collection and found one of two. The one I found is pretty good. It is "Western Pacific The WP's first 50 years-1910-1960." It was put out by Vintage Video a Catenary Video Productions. The second one is about the California Zephyr and was loaned for a train show and I'm not sure it came back. There maybe others out there, since the WP one came out in 1992. I don't keep up with the video catalogs like I used to. Pentrex may have some stuff that covers the WP. Hope this helps.

Believe that I have that CZ tape? Got it via Pentrex.

Also have the "Western Pacific's Feather River Canyon Route" by Icon Video Prod. (Came out about 7-8 years ago?)

Was hoping that there was more out there. Perhaps something that covers either east or west of the Canyon.

The Western Pacific's Feather River Canyon Route from Icon, is different than the one I have. If you get a chance take a look at the "First 50 years tape." It has steam, FT's and F7's, my kind of tape. A good friend of mine said there maybe pictures of his dad running the Zephyr in it. I need to go back and look.

I have 2 videos from Charles Smiley on the WP that are very good. You can order those and others from the website trainmovies.com (http://www.trainmovies.com) they are reasonably priced.
