I'm looking for a little information on an operation named the Nevada Copper Belt Railroad.
Was this an SP subsidiary? Or independent? From what I am able to piece together, was this operation merged into the SP?

Nevada Copper Belt was an independent operation that was abandoned with the last day of operation March 24, 1947. The NCB had 5 steam engines which were gone by abandonment. It had a Plymouth gas engine that went to the V&T. Passenger service was provided with a Hall Scott motor cars.

So there was no relation between the two. Guess my train of thought was heading down the wrong track! Thanks!

Greg: How do you know all this Espee stuff. I research some to make a model, but I don't have all the information that you apparently do. Nice job! graemlins/notworthy.gif

Thanks Flash,
I just happen to have the right books on hand. I also grew up near the SP tracks and got to watch a lot of SP trains.
