What is the difference between a marslight and a gyralight? Which did Espee use on their

Thanks Jim for your quick response. It will take me awhile to get through all this imfo. My question comes from a plan to mount some Richmond Controls in Some Kato n scale E units. I remember way back in the summer of 1965 I saw an SP F unit shoving on the rear of a westbound near Truckee. This engine was running backwards and displayed a red rotating light as it disappered out of sight. Never did find out how many units were in this helper set but I never forget how sharp this looked.

John,
Glad to have been able to help you out. They are getting rare now days. Most of them have broke and just put in ythe forward position. There are still a few working ones on the Rio Grande units. DRGW 5360 out of Helper, UT looks real good when they use it http://www.trainboard.com/biggrin.gif.
