This unit once was an SP unit. When SP purged their roster of Alco's it was one of the ones that didn't get scraped. It ended up working for Simplot and was then picked up by the FRRS in Portola. It could be made to run again.

There is slowly more info on this and other Espee engines as Richard Percy gets the Espee Modeler's website up again.
