Southern Rwy. Alco RS-11

Hi guy's. I have seen in some Web sites that the Sou. Rwy. only had 1 (one), Alco RS-11 Loco, & it appears that it was not equipped with Dynamic Brakes.
"Does anyone know"?
Did it arrive on Southern from a former merged railroad, & did this loco operate on the Carolina division? Also, any info on the sale or retirement of this loco.

The Southern did have one RS-11. It was painted in Southern colors but said Carolina & Northwestern on the side instead of Southern. Here is a link to a photo of it. The funny thing is that it's number was 11.

Looks like following are GP38/GP35/? plus those F's.
