N scale Texas Special/Meteor cars

FYI, no affiliation. Des Plaines Hobbies announced at the St. Louis Convention that they will be doing a limited run of plated photo-etched car sides with American Limited core kits of the Texas Special and Meteor cars. They do not have this posted on their web site yet, so I will list the products.

DPN6056 baggage-30' mail(used on both trains 4 built)
DPN6057 56 seat coach (used on both trains 12 built)
DPN6058 Diner (Texas Special only, 2 built)
DPN6059 14-4 Sleeper (used on both trains 24 built)
DPN6060 34 seat coach-dorm (Meteor, only 2 built)
DPN6061 72 seat coach (1 MKT only)
DPN6062 32 seat coach-buffet-lounge (1 MKT only)
DPN6063 64-seat coach (Texas Special only, 6 built)
DPN6064 Observation-sleeper-buffet (Texas Special only, 2 built)

All cars are $32.95 each except the Obs. which is $44.95

They are taking reservation thru Aug 31,2001. Production will be based on reserrvations.

For some reason the Obs-diner for the Meteor is not included. Those of you who may order should mention that to them.

They also plan to release, after the cars are completed, a side conversion to model the fluting on the original E7 locos.
