Anybody know when the last Frisco engine was renumbered & repainted? I know what the Frisco Diesel Power book says but i got some info that was different. Much thanks for any info! Roger

The info I got from a noted rail photographer was 1) SLSF 474 renumbered 6/81. 2) BN 2278 repainted 2/84 as the last Frisco engine. Any help please! Roger

Roger, it seems to me that with the frisco have so few engines (compared to GN, NP and so forth) and with the downturn in the economy, I think they were repainted all by by 1981. I'm not sure, but that seems familiar. I'll look to see what I have in my books and let you know. smile.gif
