Anybody got any info on the Frisco Bi-centinial cabooses #1240, 1242, 1250, 1281, 1700 & 1776? Like when painted, were there more than these 6, when repainted, what happened to them after the BN merger? Last time I saw the 1250 in red, white & blue was 12/31/77 at Merriam, KS on the Lenexa road- switcher. Thanks!

Not sure. Do you have any of the Frisco books? I could take a look in mine and see.

Roger;
That's a stumper. I saw your posts on the Frisco e-mail list and the Frisco Club on Yahoo! as well. I have not been able to find this information for you so far but I haven't forgot you. I am interested in the bi-centennial cabooses also.

Well, I thought I would shake things up and get people thinking. But really, I did see the 1242 & 1281 in red/white & blue even though a lot of people think I'm wrong. I was personally aboard the 1242 in red/white & blue. Roger

The Diesel Era issues from 2003 that I mentioned in the other thread, should have the info you are looking for. smile.gif
