Conductor and some others I have been in contact with in the past have encouraged me to post some of the photos I inherited fro my Uncle AC ("Mo") Moulder (M-O-W for Frisco, Clinton Sub, 1947 to the 80's).
I am working on a site to do just that. I will post it when I get a reasonable product up and running.
Many pics are from the period right before and right after (weeks if not days) the BN merger, ans show, among other things, Frisco-painted equipment relettered for BN, and the ceremony held in this sub near Bessie, Oklahoma for the merger, with Frisco and BN-liveried equipment tail to tail.

Sorry, folks . Just realized I got this on the wrong road. Can't move it, but you guys can delete it if you want. I'll repost it on the Frisco threads.

Nice pics!

Where in Oklahoma is Bessie?

BTW, I lived in Afton, OK from 1973 to 1979 when I moved to Ft. Smith, AR to continue my education and start my career. I was in Afton in late November on Thanksgiving weekend, after the BN merger. The only positive thing I can say about BN is that the Cherokee Sub east of Afton to Monett finally got CWR, and the siding in Afton was lengthened to make easier the trains coming off or going on the Afton Sub.

My connection to the Frisco is the fact that my folks managed the Rogers Motel in Afton, which was used by crews off the Afton Sub trains. I got to know the crews pretty well, and got along with the Ft. Scott-based fellas. Also, the agent at Afton was a family friend. I was very fortunate to get my first cab ride on a Frisco diesel, GP15-1 100, on the Ft. Smith Night Switcher (the brakeman was a member of the local RR club).

By your signature, you've got a deeper connection to the Frisco. I'm envious, and impressed.
