Here is an item from my train order collection. I thought that perhaps Charlie would enjoy the view.

Nice!!! Thanks for sharing. For what it was, the QA&P has quite a following....seems there are fans everywhere. I met a gentleman in Bryan/College Station, TX at an HO-scale club that was a QA&P buff and even had a steam engine custom painted. He let me run his train and it was a very enjoyable experience running and visiting with him. I only regret that I cannot remember his name, but it's one of those moments in the hobby that you look back and smile upon. smile.gif

I have a friend of mine who is a native of Cache, OK, and is a Quanah fan. He had at least one GP7 painted for the QA&P (they were done in the Frisco black & yellow, with "Quanah Acme & Pacific" lettering on the hood side). There's even a section on a video "Ship IT on the FRISCO!" from SG Video that shows a QA&P train, as well as the last revenue run and the scrap train.
Thanks for sharing!

Charlie-
Lost it in a Zip disk failure about six months ago. Believe I know which one it was. Will re-scan in a few minutes.
