At the NMRA National, I saw that Des Plaines Hobbies is running etched brass car sides for the Texas Special. These are made for the American Limited core kits. This will be a limited run so if you are interested, you need to make reservations by August 31 for a mid October delivery. The samples for the diner looked excellent. There are ten different cars being run to cover both the Texas Special and the Frisco Meteor.
