I could not decide where to post this photo so I opted for the Soo forum. I'm just getting the hang of this digital photo thing. Generally, you want more depth of field in a model photo (this was shot wide open) but I didn't bring a tripod. Anyway - I caught the beacon on - looks great flashing away. Gotta love DCC.

Beautiful engine and beautiful shot too!
I once saw the SOO in Algoma, Iowa. It was a thrill indeed!
I believe the old station still said "MILWAUKEE ROAD" on it!

One of the nice benefits of digital photography is the ability to easily modify an image to make it look how you want :D
