Is that a genuine ICRR artifact? Or an aftermarket souvenir? graemlins/headscratch.gif

Those orange and white's sure looked nice right out of the paint shop but give them a day or two and it was a different story! graemlins/220.gif

What about modelers? I remember back in the late 1970's, when I was active with NTRAK, there was a fellow named Kent Lannert. He had some really nice IC o/w paint scheme stuff. Seemed to be modeling ahead of his time. Wonder what happened to him?

A good friend of mine (who got me going in N scale again many years ago) models IC. His "Mississippi Valley RR" N scale layout was featured in Rail Model Journal about five or so years ago.

A couple of interesting photos....

I like GP30's; those GM&O units with their AAR-B trucks are especially interesting. (I think I remember an article in MR many years ago about modeling one in HO)

I also like the orange and white IC & ICG units... very different!

Hello all. I just registered here. I am still a fan of the IC Railroad and am in the process of building an HO scale Illinois Central layout.

Thanks. I will try to be here about every day if I can. Do any of you know where to get IC timetables for the early to mid 1990's?
