Back in Sep 2000, IC1509 was switching at Markham Yard MU'd with a CN geep...

And in modelling news, Dan Kohlberg, of IC(G) decal fame has just started manufacturing a part-cab kit to enable modelling one of these beasties in HO scale... cool!

I didn't know any IC switchers had a cab like that. I thought they all had round-roof cabs.

They had new cabs as part of the Paducah rebuild program through the 70's - I think IC(G) called them SW14's.

A few didn't get the replaced cab, but from looking through pics most did.

Yes, they were SW14s. Built from NW2, SW7, and SW9 models.
