Does any one know if IC has any GP28's still in service?

Thanks

Hi Craig. I don't think we've talked in a while! Work's been busy, but we'll get around to talking! About the GP28 thing, I'd have to check my sources, but like I said, I'm pretty sure there's some roaming around New Orleans in their yards. My suggestion is to get one of those special books that is published every year (the real small kinds, but they have about 1000 pages) and they are up to date (within 12 months) of every major railroad's locomotive rosters. Hope that helps you and talk to you soon.

Dave

Hey Craig,
I know that several of the IC GP28's went to various shortlines. One such shortline is the TenKen. They have two of the ex-IC units. At Dyersburg TN. the locomotives can usually be found just yards away from the Fulton Sub. of the IC mainline. Here is a couple of pics. Later,
