Where did you find it? Through many long years of searching, and collecting.
Will scan later today, and try to get uploaded this evening. First, I must shovel snow, and.......

OK. Here we go.
You'll note that some are on D&SL forms. At some time during WWII, dispatching was consolidated with the D&RGW. I cannot quickly find a date. Thus a some of these are on a joint D&RGW/DSL form.
The D&SL however, was still an independent railroad. Until on April 10, 1947, the D&SL was formally merged into the D&RGW.
Enjoy!!!

Cliff, Colorado. December 21, 1943. The small settlement there was originally spelled Pine Cliff. Later changed to Pinecliffe. The D&SL RR used a shortened name here. And several other sites. (Such as Rollins. Shortened from Rollinsville.)

Orestod on October 4, 1945. Orestod is Dotsero spelled backwards. Aren't railroaders creative? This is part of a nice ten order set.

And finally, Zuni on March 13, 1941. This is a rare example. What is known as a "schedule order." Where the dispatcher established times for a train to be at numerous specific places in it's travels. A monster compared to the usual flimsy, it's 18 inches long!!! Had to break it into two scans.

Found another one!!! A slightly more rare item!!!
This is a predecessor company to the D&SL. The Denver, Northwestern And Pacific Railway Company. Order was copied on December 12, 1912 at yet another post WWII ski area of note: Steamboat Springs.

Sweet! I was enjoying the mental pictures of these trains behind big steam, like the 3600's, the 3550's(both 2-8-8-2's), 1700's(4-8-4)...
BTW, 'Arena' siding on the monster order, is now known as Rocky, Ralston is now Arvada, if I recall correctly, and Zuni--I am stumped--could beWheat Ridge area? The DNW&P was a neat find, keep them coming!!!!

That's all I have from the D&SL family. But I'll work on some other Colorado stuff. Watch for a new thread. Or two...
