I'm trying to find any/all information regarding my Grandfather (Robert James Stadler).I was told he built tressels in the late 1800's into the early 1900's in the Mountain States ie. Colorado,Wyoming,Idaho,&Montana.If anyone could share information or reference material,I would be greatful.Thank for the help.

Hi Ron,
First, welcome aboard. As for your search, I would start at the Colorado Railroad Museum http://www.crrm.org
They have most of the old records of the railroads in the area.
