Saw about 7 flat cars and 5 gons on the siding at the old Coors Hops plant south of Delta today!! Anyone know what's up with that?? New Business?? Coors starting up the plant again?? That would be cool. Happy Modelling!!

A wild guess on my part, but I wonder if UP is just storing these cars there in Delta? There's a cut of hoppers (both covered and open-top) in a siding east of Fruita; they've
been there for quite some time. My guess is they're bad-order, and this siding was a convenient place to stash them out of the way until such time as they can get 'em thru the shops

That is a real possibility. Another thing I thought about is that instead of bringing something into the plant, maybe they are there for plant dismantling. It has been standing there empty for several years, and if Coors still owns the building, they may decided to take it down?? Happy Modeling!!
