How many unpatched Rio Grande units are still running around? I saw this weekend at CN's Lang Yard and was wondering how many are still floating around. Seems there can't be too many left.

Well, one of the GP40-2's was in Toledo on the CN this weekend. I'll get the number to you when the photos come back.

So 3130 is in for the yellow treatment. Oh well, at least it isn't sitting on the dead line. We have or had one still working out of Sparks last week. IIRC it was 3116.

IMNSHO (in my not-so-humble opinion), the ONLY good Rio Grande is an UNPATCHED, UNBORGED Rio Grande!
