Well gang...not too many Conrail units made it to the west coast, at least during the daylight hours I railfanned back in the early eighties...The first shot is from the locally famous Pepper Street overpass...where action is-a-plenty at the old SP West Colton Classification yard.

Second is a former Conrail GP 30, I am guessing it's ancestry goes back to PC/PRR lineage? I made a quick trip about 6yrs ago to an area north of Philadelphia. Not the greatest pic...behind a fence...but sometimes you take what you can get...
