Saw somewhere that CSX is selling it's two E8s at auction starting for 50 grand each, CSX 4021 and 4022 (don't know the old numbers) along with some other old equipment (B23-7s, GP38s & 40s). Just thought you guys might want to know.

That's great information, but I'm a little strapped for cash this month http://www.trainboard.com/frown.gif I bet the E8's will go to a tourist road, but wonder if a dealer will pick up the GP's or if a short line will come in and bid? Could be interesting! http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

Read that the guy who owns Juniata Terminal (and also owns a Pennsy E8) got one of them, and he plans on restoring it to the original Pennsy livery.
