I was in Hoboken about 20 years ago with an old Jersey Transit conductor who was my wife's friend's husband. He was telling me stories about way back when.
I asked him if he worked for the Lacawanna, and he turned to me, and said very sternly, "I was an E-R-I-E man......................" OOPS! MY BAD!

The next time I saw him, he gave me his old Erie patch from his uniform!
