Former motels used?

When I started my railroad career so many years ago it was on the Rock out of Shawnee OK. I remember the run to Hartshorne we stayed in modular trailers that were right along the tracks and used to eat at the dip shop or the Sonic. Can anyone remember what the name of the cockroach motel we stayed at in El Reno? I also made 2 trips to Sayre from El Reno and what I remember the motel there was a fairly nice one any idea on that too? :confused:

smile.gif Which motel was it? I have lived here all my life and I can,t think where the crew change layover was. It was either the Phillips motel, The Conway, or big 6 on the highway. Dad was the general car forman for years in El Reno . He would know. I will ask and get back to you... I like questions about El Reno anyway........Rusty
