Old Rock Island pix [Archive]

Hi all,
I have uploaded to Rail Images some recently scanned 23 year old slides I took of the Rock Island in Blue Island, IL. These bring back some fond memories. At the time, I was just out of high school and watched as the Rock was disintegrating.
Unfortunately, I didn't take enough pictures as I was in the "Shoot the new stuff!" mode taking pictures of BN SD40-2's and the like. I could kick myself now.

Lot's of stuff I'd like to kick myself about! Hindsight sure works great! But at least you saw some RI, and got a few views. Much better than absolutely nothing! I like the re-engined RS3 view......

Ken, you have some great pictures there, I love those C415's, and the re-engined Alco. I'm always up for photo's of 1970's BN SD40-2's as well, but maybe that's just me ;) :D
