I do have that page bookmarked. It has some nice photography. I knew Blair when he lived up here in the Pacific NW. At the time he took the pictures. (He was only in high school back then!) The story gets a little more into personal conclusion, rather than history.

I do have that one. Bought it from them when it first came out on VHS. It's one of the best out insofar as being error free narration, and picture quality. Sure brings back memories. And you can quickly see why I'm stuck in the '60's for Milw, NP, etc!

That would have been in the segment at Lombard. Hard to believe that at one time there were two railroad depots, passengers, an interchange yard, and several hundred residents!

It's hard to picture what once was there. The old Montana RR shops. A town of about 300 population. Milw and NP depots. Interchange yard.

For anyone who has seen it, the opening scenes from the 1930 movie "Danger Lights" were filmed about a half mile east of the Milw depot.

I agree on the Pentrex videos. I got the three Milwaukee electric videos on DVD for 39.95. They are simply fabulous.
