View Full Version : Weres all the Milwaukee fans?

Hey, where are all you guys at? I wpuld love to learn more about one of my favorite RR's from some of you. I Live in washington state and was born one year after the pacific extension was abondoned, from what I have seen and know about it they should have been able to give the BN a run for there money! There route could have been faster and had better grade then the GN and NP.

don't know much about the milwaukee except that the soo line made some nice looking bandits from there old engines.

I saw a pic in a book of a Milwakee/soo bandit SD40-2 in a BN train going over Stevens pass, There was a coment made by the enginer that "that was the smoothest run over these mountains this unit ever had!" I plan on doing a EMD bandit unit for my RR soon.

Not lately. last one I saw was about four months ago. I haven't been by the CP yards lately though, next time I stop by, I'll be on the lookout!

after seeing what gats did on the nscale sight.i emailed him and he sent me some detailed instructions on how to do them and i now have 4 of them running around with my soo power along with my bn stuff.
