I could have happened, in a pool power arrangement, but pooled power came into its own in the 70's, I think. It is doubtful, however. Maybe a C&S or FW&D engine strayed from home rails into NM.

John Am unaware of shared trackage or trackage rights. Perhaps CB&Q equipment appeared on AT&SF rails during detours for whatever reason. But that would probably have been all for New Mexico.

According to my 1978 Rand McNally C&S went through the northeast corner of New Mexico. The only shared trackage with ATSF I'm aware of is in Colorado.
