I wonder if they retired the class? Or unit by unit? 4201 made it's way west. Ended up first on the Eastern Idaho RR. Then this last winter, on the Mission Mountain RR. Merrily belching gallons of oil smoke..... Wonder where it went?

CSX retired their GP30's and GP30M's in the late 90's.... some were rebuilt to road slugs.... others were traded in on slugs and went out on the secondary market.
