Today I purchased the paint for my new house. With help from Mopac 3092 I used the paint that was a limited mix from badger. It was BN executive cream and green,That's right I am doing my kitchen and chilrens room in the Eddie Bauer SD70Mac colors.I really like that paint scheme.Have I gone too far with this? Also anyone know the name of the color of red used in the stripes?I can't wait to see what the rooms look like.

As long as you don't put a HUGE BN Logo on the walls separating the two colors,...you'll be fine...

It wouldn't be the old Burlington "Chinese Red," would it?

Well, C&O blue and yellow would be nice.

The units have 2 red stripes that run along the upper and lower green part of the engine..
http://www.trainpix.com/BN/EMDORIG/SD70MAC/9400.HTM you can see it in the pic provided. It sounds really harsh but looks very nice.

I had dreamt of painting my kid's bedroom in NP Lowey green, the 2-tone green used in the North Coast Limited trains...

Hmm.....Grimestain green & cream.......well, as long as you don't do a barf-bonnet scheme, you should be OK. Keep the green restricted to trim & windows, and your wife may let you stay there. :D :D :D :D

PS- We want roster shots!!!!!
