I have been seeing a lot of those rolling by lately. Several old Upper Merion & Plymouth hoppers too.

True enough!
I still see NP and GN woodchip gons in their ORIGINAL paint, unpatched by BN!

When last I spotted Frisco hoppers such as the pic shown above, they were in coal service. This one could be used hauling crushed rock, as I've seen Santa Fe 100-tonners in such service on unit rock trains through Sherman.

As for that tank car- that's a honey! Used to haul locomotive diesel fuel. I have an HO scale model of such a car (Athearn tanker, Oddballs Decals decal) in service. Frisco used 'em at all their yards, even in Hugo and Sherman.
