Where to begin..well let's begin with my chosen scale, which is 'N'. For many years I had collected for a generic Western Roads layout primarily BN, CB&Q, and WP. Then Life-Like came out with their series of E6, E7, and E8/9s in some of the South's prettiest schemes, and I fell hard for the ACL's E6s. Since then, I found a website for train art and saw this picture " Glamour Girls" showing Jacksonville Terminal. See link:

So now I'm interested in reproducing in model form this scene. But I'm having trouble locating internet data for the terminal. I found the address as a national landmark, used Mapquest for a locator, and TerraServer for a satelite picture of the area, but resolution is limited. I'm wondering if there are any good books which have pictures of the terminal and track plan for the site. Any suggestions?

You might want to contact the ACL & SAL HS thru their website for info. They may have even offered what you're looking for in one of their publications. Check the link below.
Good luck with this.

Thanks Comet, I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for there yet, BUT I found some ACL caboose decals I needed! I had this site book marked, but still haven't gone through all of it. Looks like it makes reference to several books I have on my "to get" list already. Anyway, thanks again for the reply.
